Berlin, February 10, 2017 – Produced by publicly-traded PANTALEON Entertainment AG (XETRA: PAL, ISIN: DE000A12UPJ7) along with Warner Bros. for Amazon Prime Video, thriller series "You Are Wanted" will release in over 200 countries, becoming the first German TV series to become available globally. Amazon will launch its first German-language Amazon Original for Prime members around the world on March 17, 2017. Starring and directed by German top star Matthias Schweighöfer, "You Are Wanted" will not just be available in Germany and Austria, but in over 200 territories on six continents. It is the widest release ever for a German TV series. All six episodes will be available in English, French, Italian and Spanish dubbed versions. Amazon is also offering Portugese, Hindi and Japanese subtitles.

Says PANTALEON CEO Dan Maag: "Our strategic aim has always been to produce for a global audience from Europe. 'You Are Wanted' marks another milestone in our international growth strategy. We are currently developing various formats that will follow 'You Are Wanted'. With our creative talent pool and in our position, it would be very short-sighted to concentrate exclusively on the German market. We aim to produce commercially viable content that has worldwide potential."

"With 'You Are Wanted', we wanted to create a German series that appeals to audiences all over the world," says producer-director-star Matthias Schweighöfer. "We will be making TV history with Amazon, launching the first German series worldwide ever. We're looking forward to bringing this exciting story to a global audience with our partners at Warner Bros."

"Almost exactly one year ago, we were the first Video-on-Demand service to announce a German Amazon Original Series with our partners Warner Bros. and PANTALEON Films, 'You Are Wanted'," says Amazon Video Germany CEO Dr. Christoph Schneider. "Today, 'You Are Wanted' is again making TV history: It will be the first German TV series to get a global roll-out. This is truly groundbreaking news for the German TV industry. We are firmly convinced quality series from Germany Deutschland like 'You Are Wanted' will resonate with viewers all over the world."

Along with star, director and producer Matthias Schweighöfer, the thriller series' A-list cast includes Alexandra Maria Lara (The Downfall), Karoline Herfurth (Suck Me Shakespeer, Perfume), Tom Beck (Einstein), Catrin Striebeck (Head On), Edin Hasanovic (Shifting the Blame), Louis Hofmann (Alone in Berlin), Lucie Aron (Me and Kaminski) and Katrin Bauerfeind (Harald Schmidt Show).

'You Are Wanted' is the story of young hotel manager and family man Lukas Franke (Matthias Schweighöfer), whose existence is turned upside down when someone hacks his personal data and starts messing with his life.

"You Are Wanted" is produced by PANTALEON Films GmbH, Warner Bros. Entertainment GmbH and Warner Bros. International Television Production Deutschland GmbH. Dan Maag, Matthias Schweighöfer, Marco Beckmann and Willi Geike served as exec producers. It was co-directed by Matthias Schweighöfer and Bernhard Jasper, writers Hanno Hackfort, Bob Konrad and Richard Kropf penned the scripts.
