PANTALEON Entertainment AG: Strong Growth in First Two Quarters of 2015

- 7.8 million Euro sales, already tops 2014 total by 30 percent
- Development pipeline doubled to over 30 top-notch projects
- Foundation laid for accelerated growth

Kronberg im Taunus, Sept. 30, 2015 –PANTALEON Entertainment AG (XETRA: PAL / ISIN DE000A12UPJ7) was able to increase sales to 7.8 million in the first two quarters of 2015, exceeding total annual sales of the year before by 30% already. The development pipeline was doubled from 15 to 30 film properties exclusively owned by PANTALEON – including first major international productions with budgets in the mid-double digit million range. Due to planned investments in current and future projects, profits were 0.95 million Euros as expected.

The first two quarters of 2015 were marked by a number of financial successes. In late March, "The Nanny" was the first German film 2015 to debut at No. 1 on the local box office charts, making the film the fifth PANTALEON Group film in a row to debut at the top spot. In October of this year, "The Nanny" will reach the second stage of the exploitation chain as Video on Demand, Blu-Ray and DVD.

In November, "Highway to Hellas" will be the second PANTALEON Group theatrical release this year. The contempo culture clash comedy headlines German star comic Christoph Maria Herbst (famed as "Stromberg", the German version of "The Office"), as a Teutonic banker sent to a Greek isle to find out whether collateral claimed on a loan really exists. Warner Bros. will distribute the PANTALEON production theatrically.

This strong growth will continue in the current second half of the year. PANTALEON Group and its subsidiaries are now able to shoot several large theatrical productions concurrently and on several continents, as evidenced by the last three productions, two of which were shot simultaneously and one on two different continents (Europe and Africa). With its corporate structure, the firm is now able to position itself on the next step of the exploitation chain, actively moving to monetize the potential of current trends of globalization and digitalization.
