- First German No. 1 release in 2015
- Next release "Highway to Hellas" in Summer

Kronberg im Taunus / Munich / Berlin, Mar. 30, 2015 – "The Nanny", the latest film by PANTALEON Entertainment AG (ISIN DE000A12UPJ7) launched at No. 1 on German box office charts this week. The film was released by Warner Bros. in 629 theaters in Germany this weekend, selling 314 000 tickets and generating € 2.60 million revenue, the first German film to debut at No. 1 this year. That makes "The Nanny" PANTALEON Group's fifth release in a row to debut at No. 1.

"We're very proud of this success, which underscores our strength in the German theatrical market", says PANTALEON Entertainment CEO Dan Maag. "A successful theatrical launch is the first big step to a long commerical run of all our productions, along all steps of the exploitation chain. A new smash hit like "The Nanny" will have long legs for the rest of its distribution lifetime, from Home Entertainment to Pay and Free TV."

"The Nanny" released in Germany, Austria and German-speaking Switzerland (GSA) last weekend, the first PANTALEON Group theatrical release 2015. Next in the PANTALEON pipeline is Pan-European culture clash comedy "Highway to Hellas", featuring German A-list comic Christoph Maria Herbst (German "The Office"/"Stromberg") as a German banker sent to a Greek island to check whether collateral given the bank for a loan really exists. The hot-button contempo comedy will be distributed by Warner Bros., launching in German theaters this Summer.
